Experts Dr. Carhart-Harris and Dr. Fonzo will examine the science behind psychedelic-assisted therapies and discuss the defining characteristics of psychedelics, their mechanisms in the brain, and a realistic look at their current therapeutic benefits and harms

Meet the Presenters

Robin Carhart-Harris, PhD - Dr. Carhart-Harris founded the Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London in April 2019 and set up the Carhart-Harris Lab at University of California San Francisco in 2023, where he moved in 2021, becoming the Ralph Metzner Distinguished Professorship in Neurology and Psychiatry at University of California.

Greg Fonzo, PhD, is Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Charmaine and Gordon McGill Center for Psychedelic Research and Therapy in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. He completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the San Diego State University/University of California-San Diego Joint Doctoral Program. .
