"I just started getting my hair cut professionally (it's worth it, who woulda thought?) and it's led me to start taking better care of my hair altogether. My favorite ritual? Wrapping my post-wash hair up in this organic cotton hair towel from Boll & Branch. It has a satisfying button closure and keeps my hair out of my face while I get ready for the day. I can't imagine my routine without it, nor will I ever go back to a regular towel wrap!" [Check it out] |

A reader comment we love:"Love this. After teaching for 30 years, I have seen so many changes in the systems. The main problem is that the changes come from the top-down, and we end up with little control over what we are required to teach, and even how to go about it. Teachers are amazing. We are smart, driven and caring. Our children are our top priority. We know that ‘one size does not fit all’ and diversify when necessary, because that is what our children need. That emotional intelligence is not always rewarded, and sadly, can come at a great cost to our own well-being. This is a great article reminding us that we must put that well-being first to be able to give our best to our kids. Keep going, fellow teachers. The future is in your hands!" |
