"Despite living in Los Angeles, I'm always looking for ways to cover up and protect my skin from sun damage. That said, I still want a little glow when I'm wearing shorts or heading to the beach (just not the Casper kind). This summer, I've been hooked on Coco & Eve, which is one of the best nontoxic self-tanners I've tried. It goes on without streaks, smells incredible, and gives a subtle, natural-looking glow without any weird orange wrist/ankle situations. They're also having a great sale right now: everything is 25% off sitewide through July 20, and the Tan Boosting SPF Body Oil is 35% off today and tomorrow!" [Check it out] |

One reader's solo travel adventures:"Have I ever traveled solo? I am in my 60s and my husband has a phobia about international travel. I went to college to get a degree so that I could get a job to earn enough money to travel. It has been a life-long goal. I travel solo all the time. I can't believe it when people say to me 'Your husband lets you do that?'. What is that about? We are both strong independent people who can do what we want. The most interesting solo trip was to Portugal. It was organized by Journee Trips. I filled out a survey and they planned the trip. I didn't know where I was going until I got to the airport. It was one of my favorite trips. (If I am not traveling solo, then I am taking one of my grown kids with me.) Traveling solo is great. I am on my own schedule and can do what I want when I want. I am not worried if another person is enjoying themself. When traveling solo, I am more comfortable if I go places where English is spoken. I also get to connect more with other people when I travel solo." - LF |
