Upgrade to paid A lot of what’s trendy on #AmericanBigTech and its World Wide Webs has been so substantively hijacked by its ever-hauntingly #predictable•algoRhythms that Americans ~ (as a political body/identity inhabited in oscillation with one’s energetic, cultural and material compasses) ~ can’t feel, much less meaningfully inhabit a response•ability towards what’s going on beyond their screen-mediated #engagement(s)…because American big tech and its World Wide Web of algorithms reward people well for #optics instead: of #mobility ~ be that in the form of #money or #pedigree or just-temporary-enough trips, or of #outrage and its consequent #marches and/or long walks to nowhere in particular. … And far less for actually moving. This #optic-con is also #Out for 2026. Warfare is in every conversation you have & realize might not ever finish #free of misunderstanding because you have been dealt a sentence in/of broken tongues. Or in other words: In #Other•edWorlds, #warfare is not shielded by the glare-screen on a #CrackediPhone ~ It’s right #outside your mosquito-screen iron-fortified window ~ in the cavernous cracks built-in to your broken roads ~ in the #makeshiftmegaphones your bus conductors and imams and roadside flower vendors have managed to #maintain in order to make sure that you can hear them right on time, when you need what they have or they need what you have to offer. Background noise of this nature is the most reliable of our forecasts and in fact comes to be at the forefront of each day. Repair comes after warfare [it must…right?]… My speculation is that warfare → repair demands & is actually #alwayshappening in improvised conjugations. So so so much ~ too much ~ of what’s intimate & necessary has been a necessity born(e) with theft at the beginning of its sentence.
