Lifestyle websites try to cover everything for everyone, but as women, femme and non-binary people, we’re multi-layered with unique needs and interests — and we deserve media that recognizes our interests.
In honor of World Ocean Day, we're joining the Marine Stewardship Council's summer reading challenge! Their thoughtfully curated collection brings the ocean a little closer to home, with stories of fishers, chefs, scientists, and explorers, as well as children's books and cookbooks that help us build a deeper connection to the seafood on our plates. It's the kind of reading list that inspires us to think more intentionally about the waters that sustain us.
📝 A good question: Which relationship do you treasure in this season of life? Perhaps it's time to send them a few words about how much they mean to you.
"I recently restocked my underwear drawer with KENT's new line of undyed, totally biodegradable undies, and I am in love! They are the most breathable and comfortable pieces that I never want to take off. I'm actually doing laundry more regularly because I don't want to wear any underwear but these!" [Check them out]
How one reader is leading into community this summer:
"A few months ago I joined a local women's social group, and tomorrow we are meeting for coffee to do some planning for the upcoming months. Just last week we had a truly enjoyable plant swap and lunch at one member's house, and we often gather bi-weekly in the evening for a co-ed game night. And I'm going to take the list of offline activities you posted to the meeting tomorrow to help stir more ideas!" - VE
