"After finding mold in one of our old humidifiers and losing one of the tiny parts of another, I started hunting for a humidifier that was first and foremost easy to sanitize. This meant no small parts, and no nooks and crannies requiring a special brush set and a flashlight to properly clean it. Everyone I asked said the same thing: Canopy. It took me two nights to understand why. After months of sleeping with the Bedside Humidifier 2.0, I truly can’t imagine ever sleeping without one again." [Read my review] |

A reader comment we love:"I really appreciate this article. When I have struggled with depression, I would/do tell myself to just change underwear and into clean/fresh pajamas. It is surprising how good that little change felt. Sometimes it motivated me to do a load of laundry to be sure I had clean pjs. I think those tiny steps do have an effect on our brains — sending little messages to our psyche that we are still worthy humans and deserve to feel better. After coming out of a deep depression a couple of years ago, my goal now to is prevent the deep depressions. I still experience low days and some less-than-helpful thinking, but gratefully not the darkness that I had experienced with the onset of menopause alongside several losses (grief). I found a good therapist and work at things every day. It’s still an effort (some days), but I figure that’s my life for now." |
