Anxiety and Depression Association of America

Join us for a free, live Q&A webinar on Wednesday, March 11 at 12 pm with ADAA member expert, clinical psychologist and author Dr. Jennifer Caspari to discuss her book .

Living with chronic illness or disability can place constant strain on mental health, making everyday stress, pain, fatigue, and emotional vulnerability feel overwhelming. Many people feel disconnected from who they are beyond their diagnosis and unsure how to cope with the emotional toll.

Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, Dr. Caspari will explore how evidence-based approaches from CBT, ACT, and mindfulness can help you build emotional resilience, manage anxiety and depression, and reconnect with what matters most.

From this discussion, participants will learn how to:

  • Respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with greater self-compassion
  • Build emotional resilience in the face of chronic stress, pain, and fatigue
  • Set values-based goals and stay connected to what gives life meaning
  • Use mindfulness to increase present-moment awareness and emotional regulation

This session offers a realistic, hopeful path toward greater well-being—without waiting for circumstances to change.
