"I love you" isn't only for Valentine's Day. We appreciate these thoughtful and meaningful ways to express our love to the people we care about most.
It'll be four years this spring that I've had my Avocado Green Mattress, and it's completely transformed my sleep and wellness. It carried me through pregnancy and postpartum, supported my husband through firefighter academy, and we've since swapped all our pillows and even our daughter's mattress for Avocado. I love that the whole mattress is certified organic (not just some of the materials) and that it's naturally cooling. With one of their biggest sales of the year this weekend, it's the perfect time to upgrade to a mattress that will support your sleep and health for years to come!
Skip the supersweet chocolates and settle in this Valentine's weekend with a cozy mug of Mayan cocoa. (Psst — we're taking the recommendation to substitute rose herbal tea for water to enjoy a floral essence).
"We recently introduced our six-year-old to 'My Neighbor Totoro' and to say she is in love is an understatement. The masterful animation and gentle magic of this classic film is timeless for a reason! Whether you want to revisit the wonder of your childhood or introduce your own kids to something artful and beautiful, Studio Ghibli is on HBO MAX." [Check it out]
One reader's beautiful way of gathering:
"Once every 2-3 months my core group of girls and I get together and go all out for a fancy dinner and then amble over to a fun, trendy, 'for the girls' cocktail bar. We make sure to keep this tradition up especially whilst we all still live in NYC, all without kids etc just making sure to make the most of each other. But we do the night in such an international way, starting with a dinner that gives us the opportunity to fully reconnect, catch up, and just talk before the loud vibes of a cocktail bar hit, before the alcohol begins flowing (for those of them that drink), and we go in a circle as soon as we have sat, ad everyone gets their uninterrupted moment to hash out everything they need to. These nights always end up as my favourite outings of the year. Nothing like some good food and good chats with your girls."
