Waist-to-Height Ratio Is Better Than BMI for Predicting Heart Disease Risk

A new study suggests your weight-to-height ratio may reveal heart disease risk more accurately than BMI. Subjects with larger waists relative to their height were more likely to develop calcium buildup in their arteries, even if their BMI was in a healthy range.
