People are pulling out board games and puzzles, buying paper copies of the news, and writing letters to friends. To me, these moves aren’t about checking out from local and global challenges. It’s a strategy for defrazzling the nervous system so a person can be more responsible for self and to others. What’s interesting to me about the list, however, is that there are no items about engaging the family system. So I’d like to add a few creative ideas about how to have an analog fall with your immediate and extended family (and friends). Or how to embrace an analog Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. ...
