My book Everything Isn’t Terrible will be turning 6 (!) at the end of the year, which is hard to believe. I still laugh at the madness of such a title released three months before the pandemic, but people bought it, and they still keep buying it, and they’re still asking to translate it into other languages. I created a 30-Day anxiety journal as a pre-order bonus for the book, to help people pay attention to their relationship patterns. Think of it as a field journal for noting what we do with ourselves when we get all stirred up. Many of you may already have it, but I wanted to provide it as a resource to all subscribers since we’re in some anxious times, and this is something tangible I can put into the world. Sometimes I will take out my paper copy and do one of the exercises to get my brain working. Yesterday I did Day 14, The Mature Path, to help me think about my frustration with getting a rejection for an article I wrote. Enjoy my humanness and questionable handwriting. You don’t have to buy Everything Isn’t Terrible to do the journal, but you do have to buy it to make me happy (kidding). It’s been a real treat to speak to groups who have been working through the book together. I’ll be back with more writing soon.
