Starting at 5:00 A.M. on Morning Edition and our podcast Up First, we reported news from around the world. That included the vote in Congress. We covered our critics as well as our cheerleaders. In other words, we did the news the same way we have every day for decades. We’re still here, because we work for you. Our job is to bring you a well-rounded picture of a changing world. To do it without fear of favor. And to come back for more tomorrow, because there is always more to learn.  This community has always been the mainstay of support for public radio.
