| | Show Yourself Love — Take Care of Your Mental Health Valentine's day was a great reminder to show love to the most important people in your life, including you! February can be a difficult month for those struggling with anxiety or depression. For many, winter is still going strong and the days are still quite short, causing some people to experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). One way you can show yourself love is by taking care of your mental health: go for a walk outside (especially when the sun is shining), journal, stay hydrated, start/continue therapy, or spend time doing something you enjoy. You can find more resources on ways to take care of your mental health at adaa.org. And remember, spring is right around the corner! | Human Connection Through Personal Stories Personal stories provide hope, raise awareness, and help break the stigma around mental health by showcasing real-life experiences. These stories focus on overcoming obstacles, sharing coping strategies, and emphasizing the importance of seeking help. Reading these stories can help you feel less alone in your own journey.
Telling your story and sharing your mental health journey can make a difference. A very human difference. Share your story with ADAA — for yourself and for others.
