| Presented in collaboration with InStride Health. Join us on Tuesday, December 9 at 1 pm ET for a discussion by clinical expert, Brian Richter, PhD, ABPP, from InStride Health, on the multifaceted impact of seasonal patterns on youth mental health and family systems. Reduced daylight, disrupted routines, and changing demands can intensify anxiety and depressive symptoms, especially for youth with anxiety or OCD. Unstructured breaks and returning to school can trigger anticipatory anxiety, avoidance, and symptom spikes. Holiday expectations and family gatherings add emotional strain, potential conflict, and extra challenges for caregivers. In this session, Dr. Brian will highlight strategies that enhance resilience, improve daily functioning, and support children and adolescents through the transitions of the holidays. Participants will learn how to: - Identify seasonal symptom presentations in youth
- Assess contributing factors
- Implement practical, evidence-based interventions that incorporate caregiver involvement
