Quick, 2-step berry cherry parfait
When it comes to breakfast, I'm often uninspired. I tend to eat the same thing most days. But this recipe has convinced me to switch it up! It meets all my requirements: quick and tasty (preferably sweet).
You can use frozen or fresh cherries and berries — both have equal nutritional profiles — and your favorite yogurt as a base. But if you ask me, I would enjoy this recipe with fresh fruits while they're still in season. You'll save a little money *and* elevate your parfait this way, as in-season produce is often cheaper and has better flavor. Bonus: This recipe is high in protein and vegetarian, and who's to say it wouldn't also make a great snack?
