Through educating myself and recognizing what spikes my sugar levels, I've been able to bring my A1C from 6.8 to 5.9 in less than 6 months! I switched over to almond and coconut flours, sugar to monk fruit, and identified trigger foods like potatoes, pasta, rice, and anything made with white flour, which are now foods I allow only once in a while.
