Now onto today’s edit… Upgrade to paid 1 // A blockprint sarong We’ve been hitting the pool most weekends as it’s the single best way to guzzle up a ton of toddler energy in one go. I’ve found the prettiest sarongs on Etsy and ended up ordering this one (the shop has many other prints available). 2 // Easy, elasticated linen shorts I’ve been on the hunt for The Perfect White Shorts. My criteria: they must be made of cotton or linen, have an elastic waist, and preferably feature an A-line-esque silhouette. This one appears to do the trick, and I’ve had luck with their linen shorts in the past. Here’s a similar, lower-priced option. 3 // Pretty, breezy tops J.Crew has a lot of good ones on sale right now. My favorites include this pretty lace-trimmed tank top (perfect for pairing with jeans) and this flowy short-sleeved blouse, which would look great with shorts. 4 // Do-it-all silk dresses I forget who put this brand on my radar, but wow, they make the most gorgeous silk slip dresses. Love this bright azure blue color! 5 // Gorgeous satin shorts Those Doen lace-trimmed shorts may be forever sold out, but Reformation has a very similar pair for a fraction of the price. Love the pairing of a lace-trimmed short or skirt + a casual t-shirt + flip flops. 6 // My favorite Jenni Kayne summer sweater This is your seasonal reminder that this perfect cotton-linen blend oversized sweater exists. I have and love. (Check out Faherty’s linen-blend sweaters for a slinky, similar feel. I have and love this one.) 7 // The softest looking lounge set. Okay, this targeted ad really got me from Intissimi. Has anyone tried this brand yet? This set looks so cozy… 8 // A lightweight, soft pajama set Endorsed by Nancy Meyers herself! (At least, according to her daughter’s Instagram)! This one is on its way to me. 9 // A perfect basic tank top This $7 (!) tank from Old Navy looks really well cut. I may grab it in off-white, and I also love this tomato-y red color. 10 // A striped mini tote for $80 A bright, summery addition to a “basic” outfit to bring in some personality and color. (This store is worth a browse; I like their kids’ selection too. Like this romper and these baby shooooes.) What I’ve been buying and loving: I just bought these comfy bras from Bombas after loving them after trying them for a paid campaign last month. They’re smooth, super stretchy, and I like that the plunge neckline works with many of my summer tops. We’re going on a family trip next month, and I’m thrilled I will have this roomy travel tote from Loeffler Randall with me! I love that it can slide onto my rolling suitcase + all the various interior pockets and zippers (so important!!). the tote! it’s a great size. I just got these woven slide sandals from Margaux and can’t wait to break them in; they’ll go easily with dresses, jeans, trousers… I bookmarked Gooselings after a chic Danish mom posted about them a few years ago. They kindly reached out to gift Lily a monogrammed duvet and pillow set, and they turned out so beautifully! These personalizable knit blankets would make a sweet newborn gift. I got these adorable striped shorts and this short-sleeved PJ set for Lily during the Hanna Andersson sale (still happening now). I’m always impressed with how well this brand’s clothing holds up wash after wash - the colors stay incredibly vibrant. Three really good pants I’m excited about: 1) the Apiece Apart trousers I linked last week arrived, and the fit and material is *perfect*!!!, 2) everyone needs a fun, striped pant, and 3) thank god these cotton poplin pants were worth the amount of money I spent on them. These Leset pants…perfection Recs, please: I’m on the hunt for a really great basic tank top that I can wear with a bra, either a scoop neck or high neck style. Let me know if you’ve got recs!
