Hey friend, "Yesterday was kind of sh*t." That's how a post in our ADHD Motivation Mastery community started last month. The member who wrote it was having a rough day where they woke up with their "brain full of cotton wool," which led to avoiding an already overdue project, getting lost in rabbit hole distractions, and so on. "The morning went bad and I just spiraled down all day." Sound relatable? What followed was a number of messages from other members in the community. Messages of a sympathy and understanding, but also advice like starting with something easy and approachable because "motivation, for us, often works like a freight train," heavy to start but powerful once it's moving. Another said "I have to have a bit of dessert first before eating the veggies." (Meaning that those easy, fun tasks—aka the dessert—are the type that actually help us get that freight train moving.) Someone else suggested creating a list of zero-brainpower tasks for those really tough days, with a reminder that even "one pomodoro and that's it" counts as progress. That's what it's like having a community that gets it. No shame. No judgment. Just real encouragement and advice from people who understand that sometimes Monday morning means 50+ work emails in your inbox and a brain that completely shuts down. The person who posted? After reading all the replies, they realized they'd been forcing themselves to try to use neurotypical productivity advice that was setting them up to fail every time. Now she had a new approach and a community of support behind her. When you join AMM, you get: - Strategies designed for how our brains actually work
- A community that celebrates that one pomodoro as a win
- Permission to eat dessert first (literally or metaphorically)
- All the course materials, workshops, and bonuses
- People who understand that some days are just gonna be a crappy day—and that's okay
Get all the details here Enrollment closes Friday. Stay curious, P.S. That conversation? It's just one of dozens happening in the community. Real people, real struggles, real solutions that actually work for ADHD brains. |
